The Datsun Go is the first car released by the Japanese automaker Nissan under the Datsun brand since its revival in 2013. The brand was used for Nissan exports prior to its discontinuation in 1986. Named after the “Dat-Go”, Datsun’s first car launched in the early 20th century,[3] the Go is available in developing markets such as India, South Africa and Indonesia. It is based on the same Nissan V platform as the Micra/March.[4] The Indonesian-market Go is officially succeeded by Nissan Magnite in early 2021 after the Go stopped production in 2020.[2]
