The Renault Koleos is a compact crossover SUV which was first presented as a concept car at the Geneva Motor Show in 2000, and then again in 2006 at the Paris Motor Show, by the French manufacturer Renault. The first generation Koleos was designed by Renault and developed by Nissan, with the majority of the production coming from the Busan plant of Renault Samsung Motors. The first generation was marketed as the Renault Samsung QM5 and the second generation is marketed as the Renault Samsung QM6.
Facelifted versions of the Koleos were available in October 2011 and June 2013.[2][3] A second generation was unveiled at the 2016 Beijing Motor Show, and uses the Renault-Nissan Common Module Family (CMF-CD) modular platform.
