The MG HS is a compact crossover SUV manufactured by Chinese manufacturer SAIC Motor under the MG marque.[2] The vehicle was launched in 2018, replacing the MG GS.[3] In China, it is the largest MG crossover SUV above the ZS.

The HS is the production model of the concept MG X-Motion. It debuted at the 2018 Beijing Auto Show, alongside the Roewe Marvel X, which is a brand new electric SUV developed by Roewe.[4][5] Engine options of the MG HS include an inline four 1.5-litre turbo petrol engine producing 169 hp (171 PS; 126 kW), and an inline four 2.0-litre turbo petrol engine, producing 231 hp (234 PS; 172 kW).[6]
