The Honda WR-V is a subcompact crossover SUV produced by Honda. It is the crossover version of the third-generation Fit/Jazz with different front and hood treatment. It was introduced at the 2016 São Paulo International Motor Show. The WR-V was built and sold specifically for the South American and Indian market.[1][2]
The WR-V was launched in Brazil on 15 March 2017 and India on 16 March 2017.[3][4] It is the first model which has been developed by Honda Research & Development Centre of Brazil in collaboration with Honda Research & Development Center of Japan, while keeping the requirements and preferences of the young Brazilian and Indian customers in mind. According to Honda, the WR-V has been “endowed with a sporty, stylish and aggressive” design language.
The WR-V shares many of parts and features with the Jazz, including the body shell, doors, dashboard and the instrument panel. The vehicle has a lifted ground clearance of 188 mm.[5]
Its features list include 7-inch touchscreen integrated advanced infotainment system with audio, video and navigation, MirrorLink support for smartphone connectivity, and an electric sunroof.[6]
The model was updated in a facelift in 2020, first launched in India and then in South America.
